Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome a rare genetic disorder introducing my son Kade...

Hey everyone, welcome to Gwen's corner and I wanted to start with a brief background about me and my second son Kade. I am a 41 year old mother of 5 children and we live in the northern Pittsburgh area of Pennsylvania, USA. My son Kade has a rare genetic disorder called Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome named after the two doctors who did the studies during the mid 1960's respectively. Dr. Rubinstein studied at the University of Kentucky and Dr. Taybi was a pediatric neurologist who studied at the University of California, UCLA.
